Good deal on Kami header?

I found a used Kamikaze header that came off a Type R? It should fit right?

What car do you drive?

If memory serves me correctly, the dowpipe on the GSR headers are shorter than those on the LS's and Type R's. Atleast for the 94-99's

yes, i thought it was a pretty good deal compared to other places I have searched. not to mention fast shipping. for an extra $25 he'll get you the ceramic one. i just went with the black finish one though.

Isn't it important to also consider if it has a 2.5inch outlet? That one on the ebay auction looks like a 2.25inch outlet...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">just got done dropping out my DC 4-1 and putting in the same exact kamikaze tonight i bought from that ebay seller last week. It is awesome. The difference is very noticable. Though I was kinda dissapointed with the stop light to stop light noise it put out (it got kinda louder compared to the DC) but on the freeway cruise, it is so much quiter than the DC. I guess you get some and lose some........oh well, i expected it was going to get a little more noisy anyways. Oh yea, the JRSC whine is much more clearer now at WOT.

On the performance aspect of it, I just love it. I should of just got the kami instead of the DC in the first place.

Funny thing is that, i was told the kami would not bolt up to the stock cat. I tried it out and the mate between the two was fine. though my cat is physically touching the heatshield causing slight rattles here and there and now my greddy evo tip is rattling against the rear bumper. i was thinking about removing the heatshield (is this a bad idea?), but i wasnt sure on how to approach the muffler tip rattle on the rear bumper (i thought of doing something to the hangers). anyways, both of these problems are due to the kami and cat mating which caused the upward tilt of the cat due to the header pulling to much on the cat, which in turn reangled the exhaust system all the way down to the muffler. The angle is high enough to force the cat into physical contact onto the heatshield.

Cant wait to get the hondata installed and tuned to see the results. Only delay now is im waiting for comptech to send me my missing part for my icebox i ordered from them through lightning motorsports. it took them 3 days to send me the icebox and intake and so far im waiting on 5 days and still going for one simple little piece. sad sad.

thanks for the feedback/review. so does this ebay version have the small collector? or the 2.5" one like endyn's model?

I emailed the seller he says its $50 more for the cerammic header so the starting bid would be $235 and he said the 2.5 is free of charge. He also said the 2.5 flange is not a pruction header and has to be custom done. I told him that kamikaze offers the 2.25 flange and the 2.5. Then he just told me its custom [img]frown.gif[/img]
